Description
Pressure measurement
The measuring device has an internal digital differential pressure sensor. The following measuring ranges are available depending on the model:
- PER 915-1: ±20 hPa
- PER 915-2: ±200 hPa
The measuring device is equipped with a "Peak" function to detect sudden pressure fluctuations. Zero and slope corrections by the user make it possible to compensate for any sensor drift over time to achieve the best measurement accuracy.
The data logger is supplied with universal pressure connectors with barbed hooks for connecting hoses with an inner diameter of 4 and 6 mm.
The pressure connectors are screwed to the meter with a standard thread G 1/8, so that the user can replace them with another type of connection if necessary, in order to adapt them to his specific needs.
Air velocity and flow measurement
In combination with a pilot tube, the data logger can calculate the air speed. The pipe constant is configurable.
If the air speed is measured in one channel and the channel section in the data logger is set, the air throughput is also available.
Temperature reading
The data logger is equipped with a miniature flat plug input for connecting K-type thermocouple probes, which allows the device to measure the temperature.
This function also allows the use of pitot tubes with integrated K thermocouple sensor.
Display
The multi-lingual dot-matrix/clear-text LCD-display has an ergonomic wide-angle visibility from daylight to darkness thanks to the background lighting and shows either large values or the diagram of a variable measurement profile.
The HOLD function allows you to freeze the measurements on the display, while the REL function allows you to view the measurement against a user-defined value.
Many units of measure available:
- Pressure: Pa, hPa, kPa, MPa, bar, mbar, psi, kg/cm2, inHg, mmHg, mmwc
- Air speed: M/s, km/h, ft/m, mph, knots
- Air flow: M3/h, l/s, cfm (cubic feet per minute)
- Temperature: °C, °F.
Data recording
Large storage capacity: Up to 1 million data, file system-based.
The recorded data is stored in CSV files, which can be easily viewed when the device is connected to a PC via USB: The device is seen by the PC as a hard disk unit, no additional software is required.
Automatic recording with configurable interval.
The units have a real-time clock: The date and time of each recorded sample are stored.
Application software
In addition to CSV files, a free, easy-to-use basic PC application software allows you to examine a large amount of recorded data, with the ability to display each recorded variable at a user-selectable interval.
Application software
In addition to CSV files, a free, easy-to-use basic PC application software allows you to examine a large amount of recorded data, with the ability to display each recorded variable at a user-selectable interval.
Alarm
Configurable alarm thresholds and optionally a hysteresis can be set. LCD display and buzzer activation when thresholds are exceeded
Statistics
Detection of MIN, AVG (average) and MAX for each displayed variable. The user can delete the statistical information to start a new statistical calculation.
PC connection
The USB-C port allows you to view or download files stored in the device's internal memory or connect to the application software.
Power Supply
4 powerful AA-batteries, the power-saving design and the configurable auto-off-function ensure a long operation. For continuous operation, the device may also be supplied with power through the USB-C connection. Any commercial 5 Vdc power supply or a PC USB connection can be used.
Configurable LCD-background lighting for more power saving options.
Ergonomics
The design allows single-handed operation as well as use on the table with a folding back stand.
The rubber protection on the side provides a secure grip while using in the field.
