REACH - Regulation
Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006 (REACH)
The rationale behind REACH: Minimise risk.
Directive 1907/2006 (REACH, stands for Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals) came into force on June 1, 2007, and applies to all EU member states. The main objective of the REACH agreement is to ensure a high level of protection for both the public and the environment from the risks that can be posed by chemicals. This results in all actors in the supply chain being required to register and disclose certain types of product information.

We prioritise quality, safety and eco-friendliness which means all products across our range are subject to a stringent quality assurance process that takes place at regular intervals. We are fully aware of the implications of the present directive across the EU. Our suppliers in their role as both manufacturers and distributors are contractually bound to comply with all applicable law. Moreover, Conrad Electronic does not need to register any chemicals, or mixtures thereof, with a REACH central authority.
When passing on information, Conrad Electronic as a distributor of goods uses the details provided by each of our suppliers. Therefore, we cannot be held responsible for the accuracy of this information.
