The TP-LINK TL-WA850RE WLAN repeater has been developed to create extended WLAN with wider cover and greater range by establishing a WLAN infrastructure instead of using multiple cables. The repeater mode is used as the default WLAN mode. The device acts like a relay station taking WLAN signals from a base router or a network access point and boosting them flawlessly to areas which were previously unreachable or difficult to wire.
It can serve Ethernet devices as a WLAN adapter using its Ethernet port.

300 Mbps
The TL-WA850RE was developed to improve the range and strength of existing WLAN and eliminate dead zones. With 300 Mbps data rates in accordance with IEEE802.11n, it is ideal for smooth HD video, music streaming and online gaming.

Ethernet bridge
The Ethernet port of the TL-WA850RE allows the repeater to be simultaneously used as a WLAN adapter for Ethernet devices such as Blu-ray® players, game consoles, video recorders, and TVs. It also continues to boost your WLAN as usual.

Signal strength display
5 LEDs indicate the signal strength currently received by the TL-WA850RE, allowing you to easily find the best location.

Universal compatibility
The TL-WA850RE works seamlessly with IEEE802.11b/g/n devices. Microsoft® Windows® 8 is naturally supported.
