Progress Through Idea Exchange and Inspiration

The future belongs to those who are brave enough to embrace digital transformation with open-mindedness and the willingness to collaborate. Visiting Google Campus and a variety of AI startup companies based near Silicon Valley, Jürgen Groth, our COO, and I were very impressed with the innovativeness, excellence and visionary prowess of our long-term partner. Talking to those innovators means that we’ve now got even more ideas, and ways, when it comes to making our processes more customer-centric, using automation and AI-generated content.   

To underline the fact that we are at the forefront of all things related to digitalisation in our industry, and collaborating with Google Cloud Consulting, we recently organised a Security Awareness Hackathon here in Hirschau. The event was attended by both specialists and laypeople hailing from Munich, Prague, Warsaw and our region, who met up to look into IT applications and the main cybersecurity issues arising from digitalisation.    

We will continue to have our ear to the ground, work with our partners and take inspiration from others, to make sure we provide the tailored solutions our customers need to overcome challenges. Which is what we’ve been doing for 100 years. Exchanging ideas with the pioneers of the digital age is a major stepping stone on our journey to become the leading sourcing platform for technical supplies in Europe.
