The Charge Manager 2024 is the perfect blend of battery charger and analyser. Enables simultaneous charging of 8 AA, AAA, C or D and two 9V batteries. Moreover, the device comes with 6 different battery care and refresher routines: Charge, Top-up, Discharge, Cycle, Activate, and Maximise. All of which help increase battery life and efficiency. The auto-refresh and auto-revive function enable reconditioning older batteries, overcoming the memory effect, bringing rechargeables back to their maximum C-rating. True capacitance reading helps spotting weak rechargeables easily. The Charge Manager 2014 comes with 6 selectable charge/discharge current settings for NiMH and NiCd batteries. Auto-mode matches charging current with battery capacity. Charging of NiZn is an automated process using 4 selectable discharge current options. Pulse charging enables charging/discharging using different currents at the same time. Both, charging and discharging are regulated by a microcontroller, independent of the battery status. The device is easily set up and equally straightforward to operate. The large blue-lit graphic LCD shows all relevant parameters. By the way, inserting the battery into the charger is enough to trigger charging. The device automatically switches into power-save mode after completing charging and care routines. However, the charger continues to monitor battery status, automatically going into trickle charge mode, if necessary. If you are out and about, the Charge Manager 2024 can be powered by a car cigarette lighter adapter (not included). The device features a built-in memory that stores all settings for about a week off mains. The built-in USB port and our free software downloads allow you to operate the charger, and to transfer charging and battery data to a PC for analysis, print-outs and archiving.
