3M ET4525X55 Polyester film Transparent (L x W) 55 m x 25 mm 1 pc(s)

The Scotch® fiber reinforced polyester tape 45 combines the good electrical properties of a polyester film with the high stability of a glass fabric tape. For example, the 0.177 mm thick insulating tape has a breakdown voltage of 5,500 volts and, with a temperature resistance of up to 105°C, belongs to insulation class A. At the same time, the printable polyester tape is coated with a flame-resistant, extremely strong heat-hardening silicone adhesive and therefore has a very high tensile strength. It is therefore suitable for all types of bundling, fixings and suspensions with high mechanical load. Due to its extreme tear resistance, the adhesive tape is also suitable for short circuit current-proof bundling of medium voltage cables. As the transparent polyester tape is not UV-resistant, a cover with PVC insulation tape is required for outdoor applications.
