Description
AFDD with circuit breaker (MCB) according to IEC/EN 62606-10) and IEC/EN 60898-1 (VDE 0641 420-11) provide protection against serial and parallel fault arcs, protection against overcurrent (overload or short circuit), protection against overvoltage (only for AFDD internal) and protection against electrically ignited fires according to DIN VDE 0100-0665.
Mandatory application areas according to DIN VDE 01000 are in single-phase alternating voltage systems with In ≤ 16 A in bedrooms and lounges for children, disabled or old people or apartments with reduced mobility as well as in rooms or places with fire risk (with particular risk of fire, establishments in which there is a risk of fire), mainly/mainly from combustible construction materials (Classification of the combustibility of the building materials is the responsibility of the manufacturer of the wooden house), the hazard of irreplaceable goods - cultural goods with a particular value of Hohem and in single-phase final circuits supply the electrical equipment in the specified areas or pass through these areas. It is recommended to use AFDDs in rooms with sleeping facilities, rooms or places with a fire spreading structure and high connected terminal circuits.
In general, the AFDD is also recommended to increase fire protection against electrically ignited fires.
LED indicator to identify the cause of the triggering. Supply from above or below freely, cross-wiring e.g. to FI-circuit breaker in the rear terminal area possible. System PRO M compact® accessories can be installed.
Rated switching capacity according to IEC/EN 60898-1 ICN=6kA.
AFDD+MCB S-ARC1 is 1-pin protected (LS), 2-pin switching.
