Description
The 3-pole AFZB contactors comply with the latest standards for rolling railway vehicles and enable them to be installed in passenger or driver's cabs of trains that frequently travel in tunnels or subways. They switch power circuits with motors, slightly inductive or non-inductive loads. They comply with all important standards for rolling stock: IEC 60947-4-1, IEC 60947-5-1, IEC 60077-1/-2 and applicable parts of the standards EN 50155, shock and vibration resistance according to IEC 61373 Cat. 1, class B. They also reach the highest levels of fire and smoke behavior while complying with European standard EN 45545-2 (HL2 hazard levels) for group assembly. The AFZB contactors can withstand short voltage dips and voltage drops (in accordance WITH SEMI F47-0706). All integrated or retrofitted auxiliary NC contacts are designed as mirror contacts in accordance with IEC60947-5-1 Appendix L. They also have built-in surge protection and do not require any additional extinguishing elements.
