ABB C011-160 Temperature sensor Sensor type PTC

The CM-MSE and CM-MSS thermistor motor protection relays are used to control motors with PTC temperature sensors. The temperature sensors are installed in the windings of the motors and measure the motor heat directly. This enables direct control and evaluation of different operating conditions. Depending on the product, ATEX approvals are also available for use in hazardous areas. ABB also offers PTC temperature sensors C011 (according to DIN 44081), which can be embedded in motor windings.
