ABB RB121-24VDC Interface relay 24 V DC 1 change-over 10 pc(s)

In today's industrial automation systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs) play a central role. They connect instruments and actuators connected by conventional wiring to the process. However, a PLC is not completely decoupled from the industrial environment, so surge spikes and transient currents can affect its functionality. In order to adjust the applied voltage and/or current as well as provide the PLC with suitable galvanic isolation, the appropriate interface should be installed for each input/output point, which regulates the voltage and current level as well as provides isolation protection. The relay and optocoupler series from ABB provide such interfaces. They permit a wide adjustment of the voltage (from 5 to 250 V) and current (from 0.01 to 8 A) as well as a high isolation between the input and output from 2 to 4 kV. For high switching frequencies with low switching loads optionally transistor, MOS-FET or triac outputs can be selected.
