Description
RC4-1/50 is an RC surge protector that reduces the maximum peak voltage and limits the high pre-voltage frequencies that occur when a contactor is operated in the control circuit. Opening a contactor coil can cause high voltage spikes of several kV, which can cause interference and damage to sensitive electronics in the system. The RC4-1/50 can have a control voltage of 24 ... Operated at a 50 V AC 50/60 Hz. The RC4 quencher is mounted directly on the AFC contactor, either at the top or at the bottom, and includes the terminals of the coil. RC4 are specially designed for AFC contactors or NFC relays.
