ABB UA63-30-00RA-84 Capacitor bank contactor 3 makers + resistor Piece 1 pc(s)

The 3-pole contactors UA63-30-00RA for capacitor circuit can be used in systems where the peak current is far above 100 times the nominal effective current. The contactors are supplied complete with their damping resistors and must be used without additional inductances. Their electrical lifespan is 250 000 switching operations at Ue < 500 V and 100 000 switching cycles at 500 V ≤ Ue ≤ 690 V. The contactors UA..RA are equipped with a special front block, which ensures the serial insertion of 3 damping resistors in the circuit, in order to limit the current peak when the capacitor bank is excited. Their connection also ensures that the capacitors are pre-charged to limit the second current peak when switching on the main poles. By using resistors, the highest current peak of the capacitor can be damped independently of its height when the capacitor is switched on. The 3-pole contactors in the series UA...RA are designed in block construction.
- Main poles: 3 Main poles
- Control circuit: AC operated with laminated magnetic circuit
