ABB UAF75-30-00RA-70 Capacitor bank contactor 3 makers 1 pc(s)

UAF75...RA: 3-pole contactors for capacitor circuit can be used in systems where the peak current is far above 100 times the nominal effective current. The contactors are supplied complete with their damping resistors and must be used without additional inductances. The UAF..RA contactors are equipped with a special front block which ensures the serial insertion of three damping resistors in the circuit in order to limit the current peak when the capacitor bank is energized. Their connection also ensures that the capacitors are pre-charged to limit the second current peak when switching on the main poles. By using resistors, the highest current peak of the capacitor can be damped independently of its height when the capacitor is switched on. The 3-pole contactors of the UAF...RA series are designed in block design and have very wide coil voltage ranges.
- Main poles: 3 Main poles
- Control circuit: AC or DC operated with electronic support
