Highlights & Details
ACV 340025-1-5-p round connector 4.0 mm, insulated brass
- The round plug profile with 4.0 mm pin diameter ensures a simple plug connection for the fast mounting in wiring sections.
- The insulating vinyl sleeve provides for electrical separation and simplifies use when crimping.
- The compatible cross-section range from 0.5 mm² to 1.5 mm² enables the connection of common conductors with small cross-section and thus facilitates the standardization of wiring.
- The electrolytically tin-plated brass contact offers a reduced contact resistance and allows repeated mechanical latching without rapid wear.

Description
This connector serves as one-piece crimp connection terminal for detachable, axial electrical connections. The installation is done by stripping the conductor, inserting in the sleeve and pressing the terminal with a crimping tool, in order to create a gas-tight connection. The insulation sleeve then encloses the connection, minimizing the risk of a short circuit. The metal contact transfers the current through the contact surface, while the galvanized surface reduces the surface oxidation. Typical applications are wiring harnesses and general electrical assemblies where compact, easy-to-maintain connections are required and a round shock connection simplifies the separation and reconnection.
