Description
This flat plug socket with integrated branch connector is designed for the inLine connection of lines, when a second cable is needed. It has a suitable flat plug connector and offers an additional branch for parallel circuits. The contact plate transfers the current between the terminals. The installation takes place by inserting an stripped conductor into the insulated sleeve and then pressing with the support sleeve to create a mechanical and electrical connection. The partly insulated design allows it to be laid even in the tightest of spaces and reduces the exposed printed circuit surface. Typical applications include harness modifications, relay and fuse block extensions, and situations where a compact second branch is needed. Operation is stable within the specified temperature range under normal ambient conditions.
