Highlights & Details

ACV 381114-32-1 installation frame for car radios, 173 x 100 mm, single DIN/double DIN, gray

The 2-DIN installation format offers a standardized installation opening and thus enables an easy integration of an upgraded car radio with double height in the dashboard. The vehicle-specific contouring for the Ford Transit V363 ensures the correct alignment with the factory dashboard opening, thus reducing the adjustment requirements for installation. The compact design and fixed geometry simplify the secure attachment in the dashboard and help to a stable hold of the radio while driving. The neutral gray surface matches the color of the original interior and provides a harmonious overall picture.

Description

This installation frame for car radios is a specially developed 2-DIN screen that precisely positions a car radio with double installation height in the dashboard of a Ford Transit V363 (production period August 2014 to June 2019). The frame is inserted in the original opening in the dashboard and offers the radio a stable stop. This ensures a uniform hold of the mechanical fixtures and optimum alignment of the front panel. When installed, the frame positions the radio in the correct depth and alignment so that controls and display are flush with the trim. The design reduces the need for additional supports or washers. Typical fields of application are the retrofitting or the replacement of car radios which require a perfect fit and a permanent hold.
