Highlights & Details
ACV 381200-17 installation frame for Mitsubishi Outlander 2-DIN car radios, metal
- The 2-DIN panel enables the installation of a car radio with double height and thus the standardized exchange of the dashboard in compatible vehicles. The mounting frame geometry is adapted to the factory opening and thus ensures a safe integration in the casing. This simplifies the mounting and minimizes the necessary changes to the dashboard. The vehicle-specific fit guarantees correct positioning and a secure grip, as a result of which the installation time is shortened and the need for special brackets is reduced.

Description
This installation frame for car radios is designed to accommodate a 2-DIN car radio and its positioning in the dashboard opening of a specific vehicle model. It serves as a mounting frame which secures a radio having twice the height of the factory opening and allows the installer to replace the original radio with a retrofit device using the normal mounting steps. The frame engages the instrument panel and the vehicle's internal mounting points to securely position the radio and ensure the correct alignment of the trim parts. It is typically used for vehicle audio upgrades that require a fitting solution for the models listed in the compatibility list. This enables an easy installation without complex adjustments.
