Description
This installation frame for car radios serves as a stable holder for the installation of retrofit radios in factory-installed dashboard. The frame is inserted into the vehicle's original opening and fixes the new radio using standard ISO mounting interfaces. The device is thus securely aligned and fixed. During installation, the bracket is pushed into the opening in the dashboard and the radio is pushed into the frame until it clicks into place. The trim and wiring are then installed in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications. Typical applications are the conversion of 1-DIN openings to 2-ISO devices or the replacement of factory radios in SEAT, Škoda and VW models, where a robust installation frame is required for a secure fit and vibration resistance. The design enables reproducible installations in workshops and mobile installation environments.
