Digital Image Processing Engineer (DIT)
Requires a high-quality SDI monitor for fast color correction on the set and management of the production workflow. It can deliver accurate and real color reproduction and details of the camera and present them to the director/customer.

Colorizer
The 12G-SDI input enables creative use of SDI-PCIe capture cards or capture boxes to connect directly to the PA24US via SDI instead of via HDMI. It delivers uncompressed, high-quality 4K video and provides accurate preview of image performance.

Filmmakers & Video-Editors
An ultra-high resolution monitor with wide color gamut performance is an essential tool for 4K HDR video production. The factory pre-calibration provides for an industry-leading color fidelity, and a large color space and Delta E< 1 color difference ensure an excellent color accuracy.

Uncompressed 4K video
The 23.6-inch 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) panel offers four times greater pixel density and three times more screen space than similarly large FHD displays, while WAS produces sharper detail.
The ProArt Display PA24US features a 12G-SDI connection that allows you to receive and transfer uncompressed video up to 4K@60Hz directly from camera devices with extremely low latency.

High dynamic range
The ProArt Display PA24US offers a brightness of up to 600 nits and has received the VESA DisplayHDR 600 certification. Several HDR formats support the HDR-10 / HLG high dynamic range technology for brighter white and darker blacks, WAS leads to a rich and natural viewing experience.

Self calibrating
ProArt Displays now has an innovative self-calibration function for the integrated color meter. Self-calibration is a stand-alone solution without any software and is compatible with any operating system. You can perform the Color Calibration and Planned Color Calibration functions directly via the OSD operation of the ProArt Display. Thanks to this flexibility, you can achieve color consistency always and everywhere.

ProArt calibration
Asus ProArt Calibration technology stores all color parameter profiles on the ProArt monitor's internal scaler IC chip, not on the PC. You can calibrate the monitor and then rewrite the look-up table so you can connect it to devices with different operating systems or applications without having to adjust the settings.

ProArt color center
ProArt Color Center provides tools for remote control of groups and calibration, so you can do these important tasks from a central location. You can remotely control group calibration, time-controlled calibration, and custom color parameters to ensure professional-level accuracy and consistency at all times.

Seamless calibration
ProArt displays are compatible with most major calibrators, including X-Rite, Datacolor and Klein. They also work seamlessly with the professional hardware calibration software Calman and Light Illusion ColorSpace CMS.

Enjoy natural colors
The PA24US surpasses the industry standards for color reproduction with its 99% Adobe RGB and 95% DCI-P3 color space and has a true 10-bit color depth for representing more than 1.07 billion colors. 600 nits peak brightness ensure deep blacks and brightest whites. Thus, the PA24US can display even the smallest details in shadows and bright lights accurately - for unbelievably realistic pictures.

Asus Smart HDR technology
Thanks to the exclusive Asus Smart HDR technology, the ProArt Display PA24US supports several HDR formats including HLG and HDR10.
With HLG, users can view and create materials for radio and satellite TV platforms such as BBC iPlayer, Japan NHK TV and DirecTV.
HDR10 support ensures compatibility with existing video streaming services and a growing list of HDR-enabled games.

Multiple PQ curves
Asus ProArt displays support multiple HDR10 waveforms, including PQ Hard Clip, PQ Optimized, and PQ Basic, which can meet all content creation requirements.

HDR preview
HDR Preview enables a direct connection from the camera to the monitor to display recorded HDR content with its full tonal range. It also works with most video editing software platforms and provides accurate simulations of final output for easier and more efficient editing.

12G-SDI connectivity
SDI (Serial Digital Interface) is a professional video signal that is preferred in production environments. It offers a longer distance without video compression and is reliable. BNC cables have special connectors on both ends that engage into the connected devices so that they cannot simply be dropped or pulled out.
When compared to general 3G-SDI, 12G-SDI offers up to 4 times the bandwidth and enables the reception and transfer of uncompressed video at up to 4K@60Hz directly from camera devices with extremely low latency.

Seamless workflow integration
Extensive connectivity offers a full-fledged USB-C port that enables super-fast data transfers, video signals and a 80-watt power supply for charging laptops and other devices - all via a single cable. DisplayPort1.4 and two HDMI(v2.0) for compatibility with current and future screens and peripherals. Moreover, it possesses a headphone connection and a USB 3.2-hub.

Picture-by-picture (PBP)
View two to four different settings at the same time by placing multiple input sources side by side on the screen, and configure the color settings for each individual window using sRGB, Adobe RGB, DCI-P3, REC. 2020, User Mode 1, or User Mode 2.

Asus flicker-free technology
Fatigue and strict eyes are a thing of the past. The ProArt displays feature Asus flicker-free technology certified by the TÜV Rheinland, which reduces screen flicker and thus minimizes eye fatigue and other harmful effects for a pleasant viewing experience.

Blue light filter
The Asus blue-light filter certified by TÜV Rheinland protects you from harmful blue light. You can easily access it via a key combination. The ProArt displays were subjected to rigorous performance tests and certified by TÜV Rheinland Laboratories, a global provider of technical, safety and certification services, as flicker-free and with a low blue light content.

Ergonomic design
With the Asus ProArt display, a convenient viewing position is always easy to reach. The ergonomically designed pedestal with quick-release and inclination, rotation and swivel function as well as height adjustment provides for a comfortable viewing and usage experience. Moreover, the VESA wall bracket can be mounted on the desk in a space-saving way.

Accurate real-time preview at the scene
QuickFit Plus is a smart feature that displays a screen grid that allows alignment and preview.
With the center mark and the security area, you can create a real-time preview when you rotate on the set to avoid the video image going beyond the screen.
The ruler offers the actual size of an inch stick on the edge; you can also adjust the working size as you wish.
