Description
DROCK 3D ASA - Weatherproof precision for long-lasting applications
Technical filament with UV and weather resistance.
DROCK 3D ASA (acrylonitrile-styrene-acrylate) was specially developed for applications which must work reliably even under demanding environmental conditions. The material combines the mechanical strength of ABS with a significantly higher UV and weather resistance. This keeps it dimensionally stable, color-fast and can be loaded - even in long outdoor areas or changing temperatures.
Beddrom 3D: The brand behind the material
BEDPRINT 3D stands for over 13 years of experience in industrial 3D printing - born from the roots of Innofil3D, BASF and Forward AM. Today the experienced team returns to its origins: Independently, focused and with the same passion for quality.
Under the new name, MBED 3D, the well-known Ultrafuse filaments are being continued with the aim of providing professional printing materials with the highest dimensional accuracy, reliability and consistency.
Courage enough to start again. Ground-standing enough to deliver.
Ideal for functional components indoors and outdoors
With its high resistance to heat formation and excellent chemical resistance, MDRK 3D ASA is the first choice for technical components, functional prototypes, housings or mounting devices that must remain reliable over a long period of time. The material resists oils, fats, gasoline, weak acids and alkalis - and retains its structural integrity even in industrial environments.
Long life and dimensional stability in changing conditions
Through its balanced combination of strength, impact resistance and dimensional stability, ASA is ideal for use in changing temperature and lighting conditions. Printed parts remain precise and retain their surface quality even when used outdoors for long periods of time, such as automotive applications, exterior housings or technical installations.
