Braun Germany Scouting Cam Black500 Mini Wildlife camera Black LEDs Green

If owners of a forest property, tenants of a hunting ground or foresters of larger forest areas want to know when and where which wild species are in the forest, e.g. for eating, wild cameras are used. With the help of photo traps, you can observe wild animals such as deer, wild boars, foxes and the like unnoticed during day and night or monitor the wild stock. Furthermore, the camera can also be used to monitor your own property or to protect objects.

The camera manufacturer Braun Photo Technik now extends its extensive range of game cameras with the new Braun Scouting Cam Black500 Mini, As the name suggests, it is also characterized by its small dimensions of only 104 x 74.6 x 43 (HxWxD) mm and its weight of only 236 grams. Braun supplies the Scouting Cam Black500 Mini in a robust housing and with a high-quality 5 megapixel CMOS image sensor, a PIR motion detector with a detection radius of 40° as well as two black IR LEDs (high power 850nm) for night recordings. The compact and waterproof camera housing complies with protection class IP56. The Braun Scouting Cam Black500 Mini has a 1.9‘‘ color TFT display for image control of the recordings, which are stored on a micro SD card (up to 32GB, AVI and JPG format).

The 5 MP CMOS image sensor used provides very good color pictures during the day. The new Scouting Cam Black500 Mini also delivers videos with a length of up to ten minutes and a resolution of 1080p (15fps). As soon as the daylight becomes weaker, the two black infrared LEDs are activated and the scene lights up. At night, all recordings are technically recorded in black and white, with a maximum recording distance of 20 meters at night. The trigger time is only 0.45 seconds. Useful time-lapse recordings (video or photo) are also possible with the new game camera. Standby time is approximately six months. The operating temperatures range from -7 degrees to 40 degrees. In addition, the Braun Scouting Cam Black500 Mini has an integrated microphone, a loudspeaker, a password protection as well as the specification of date, time, moon phase and temperature. Power is supplied by four AA batteries. The scope of delivery also includes a tree holder and a fastening strap, in order to fix the camera to a tree. Alternatively, it can also be placed on a stand independantly.
