Description
The BRESSER MicroCam II 20 MP 1‘‘ microscope camera is the professional solution for the documentation on the microscope.
The BRESSER MikroCam II 20 MP 1‘‘ has the largest sensor in the MikroCam series with an edge length of 13.6 x 8.8 mm. This allows you to capture large image fields. Depending on the microscope model, e.g. the eyepiece field can be completely documented with this camera (for an eyepiece 10x / 22mm). Other cameras often capture less than 50% of the eyepiece field.
The Sony IMX183 CMOS sensor has an extremely low noise at high light sensitivity, so that this camera is also perfectly suitable for dark field or phase contrast recordings.
The MicroCam Lab II software offers a variety of different functions, such as measurement in live image (calibration preparation required), mosaic image creation, focus stacking (for increased depth of field). All automatic functions (exposure time, sensitivity, white balance, etc.) can also be set manually.
Due to the large sensor, the camera is not optimally suitable for every microscope. This may lead to a shading of the edge (vignetting). In most cases, this shielding is fixed by a 1x optical unit (article number 5914001), which is screwed into the camera.
This camera is not designed for the trinocular tube of the ETD-201. Only a small part of the field of view can be used with this microscope.
