Description
The SideControl type 8635 positioner is an electro-pneumatic positioner in two-wire technology for pneumatically actuated process valves with thrust or swivel drive. Signal processing, control and control of the internal control system is carried out via microprocessor-controlled electronics. The implemented Autotune software function allows the positioner to be automatically adjusted to the installed control valve. The positioner is conveniently configured and operated via three control keys as well as a display with clear text display. The development of a distributed control system is possible when equipped with a process controller with PID response. The SideControl Positioner type 8635 is optionally approved for use in hazardous areas (zone 1) according to ATEX. The casing is suitable for use in chemical and process technology through its compact and robust construction.
