With its high water content, the Burnshield Hydrogel cools and calms down by absorption and dissipation of heat, was designed to minimize skin damage. Burnshield Gel is a white to cream gel that becomes clear after application. This allows monitoring of the wound course. It does not adhere to and does not stick with the wound. It is non-toxic, non-irritant and also suitable for use in children.
