Description
LANtest Pro is a small handy tester that allows the user to quickly display the status of Ethernet twisted pair cables. It detects in seconds errors like open, short-circuited, crossed, twisted cable pairs as well as split pair errors. The tone generator function allows technicians to send a signal through the laid cables and then locate the error with the cable detector. The LANtest Pro includes a base unit and a remote unit that allows a technician to easily test patch cord and routed cables.
- 1 Remote unit.
- Detection of the following faults: Open, short-circuited, twisted, crossed and split pair cables.
- Detection of the split pair error from a minimum cable length of 40 cm.
- Test the cable shielding.
- Specially designed remote unit for testing the installed cables by only one person.
- Easy-to-read error display and high-speed error measurement.
- Debug mode for the most exact cause of the error.
- Automatic sleep mode and Power off button for low power consumption.
- Low battery indicator.
