Description
Hobbes NETmapper Pro is a handy multi-functional network tester. It can perform on-line/off-line tests and test phone lines. In the on-line test mode it functions like a terminal, ping network devices, lists the IP names, the MAC address, the address of the device and identifies all components connected to the network including routers, printers and PCs, etc. In off-line test mode, it works like a professional cable tester.
The Hobbes NETmapper Pro also has a built-in digital tone generator and port finder function, in order to track cables and identify with accuracy. It's an all-in-one tester. It is a very useful device for professional network administrators to quickly check network connectivity, gain important information for troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Identifies speed up to Gigabyte (10/100/1000)
- Ping Default Router, DNS Server, and Custom Device.
- Scans and lists all PCs with IP address or MAC address.
- Finds PC Services: Http/telnet/ DHCP and ftp services.
- Built-in Port Finder function: Tracks the appropriate socket on the hub/switch.
- Wiring plan (wire map) test, twisted mapping test, cable length test, tone generator and port finder.
- Tests open, short-circuited, twisted cables, crossover, split pair, Miswire and shield continuity.
- The results of the wiring plan in pin-to-pin format.
- Identification of the remote ID number, confirmation to terminals.
- Two RJ45 ports on the main unit for on-line or off-line testing.
- Measures the cable length without the use of remote units for the Category Cat5, CAT5e and Cat6 cables.
- Self-calibration for testing non-standard cables and/or to increase the accuracy of the measurement.
- The user himself defines the unit for cable measurement.
- The tone generator function sends 1 kHz tone signal with 4 tonalities to all wires.
- PoE detects devices and voltage.
- Low battery indicator and auto-off in economy mode.
- Tests voltage for phone lines.
