Description
The third generation of the PC cable tester - Hobbes TEST-i is designed specifically for requirements of modern test environments. The TEST-i tests and analyzes a broad spectrum of PC connector types (including DVI and HDMI) and most of the usual flat band cables in the PC field.
Thereby, the Hobbes TEST-i analyzes the cables not only for wiring errors but also shows the wiring of the individual wires in the plug. The result is displayed in the so-called "Pin to Pin" procedure. In addition, the TEST-i offers the possibility to store the last 100 measurement results through its internal memory and to transfer them to a PC via the USB connection. The easy-to-read LCD display (with backlighting for working in low-light conditions) means that test results can be read and tested. Even especially at Hobbes TEST-i it is possible to combine different plug types. This allows you to check individual cables quickly and easily. Through the integrated quick-test function the cables to be tested can be compared with a pre-defined reference cable and thus increase the working speed while testing.
The Hobbes TEST-i is thus a useful and useful tool for system integrators and cable assemblies.
- Identify open, short-circuited, miswired and crossed cable connections
- Supports 18 different ribbon cable types
- 100 measurement results can be stored and transferred to a PC via USB
- Alphanumeric LCD display with backlight
- Battery level indicator
