Description
In the case of a new construction of a switchgear, it is up to you to decide which current transformers are needed. Essential quality features are the efficiency and versatility of the products. Efficiency is expressed here by the need for space, installation effort, and costs. When an all-round efficient current transformer offers additional versatility in the form of variable application and mounting possibilities, the decision to purchase has often been made.
The innovative plug-in current transformers in the ALO series bring all these aspects under a lead-sealable and rotary terminal cover. Above all, the necessity of a converter separation terminal is omitted through the integrated short-circuit bridge. Thus one achieves a lower power loss and benefits at the same time from a more favorable cable management. The ALO series converters represent the most compact design available on the market today and are therefore ideally suited to control cabinets due to their unbeatable space efficiency. The wide range of applications such as mechanical and plant engineering and the corresponding versatile mounting possibilities of the converter meet the need for a sustainable future with safe energy supply. These properties sometimes lead to the end product being the most cost-efficient and at the same time most common variant of an available socket transformer. Despite reduced costs, the ALO series current transformers have an integrated short-circuit bridge to provide increased security.
