Charged aerosol detector PCE Instruments PCE-MPC 15 Particulate matter Datalogger function

The particle counter is used in offices, workshops or also in laboratories, in order to conduct oriented measurements of the ambient conditions. In addition to the number of particles, the particle counter determines the mass concentration PM2.5 and PM10 in the measuring range 0 … 1000 µg/m³. It also measures temperature and ambient humidity. The alarm limit function can be used to set limits for PM2.5 in the particle counter. During a measurement, it is possible to record the measured values with the particle counter. For this purpose, a memory with a memory size of approx. 12 measurement cycles each with 999 measurement points is available for the particle counter. The interval can be set at different times for the particle counter. The large 8 Wh battery can be charged via the micro USB interface. The integrated battery of the particle counter allows an operating time of approx. 9 hours. This allows the particle counter to perform measurements over an entire working day before it needs to be recharged. Since the rechargeable battery is not firmly installed in the particle counter, it can be replaced easily.
