Description
The D-Link DES-1008C 8-port Fast Ethernet Unmanaged Switch is a compact, cost-effective network solution for home offices, SOHO applications and small businesses that need a reliable wired network connection without complicated setup.
With eight 10/100 Mbit/s Fast-Ethernet-ports the DES-1008C enables a simple expansion of your network and the connection of several devices such as PCs, printers, IP cameras or routers. Thanks to the plug-and-play design no technical configuration is required – connect and start immediately.
All ports have Auto MDI/MDIX, where the switch automatically adapts to straight or crossover cables. IEEE 802.3x flow control and the secure store and forward switching process ensure efficient data processing, reduced network overload and stable performance.
The DES-1008C automatically detects inactive network connections and puts unused ports in standby mode in order to reduce the power consumption. The fan-less, compact desktop-design ensures a low-noise operation and flexible positioning in every work environment.
