Description
The multifunctional safety timer relay UG 6960 is used to protect persons and machines by enabling and interrupting a safety circuit in a safety-related way. This is done with the delay function set on the device. Simply set one of 5 selectable delay functions with the rotary switch and you're done. The set delay times are safe over the entire time range. The UG 6960 safety timer relay is available with various safety functions. It has secure delayed contacts and instant contacts.
· ACCORDING TO IEC/EN 60 255, DIN VDE 0435-303
· 3 electrode connections for 2-point and 1-point level control
· High immunity to interference of the electrically isolated measuring circuit from the mains
· Max. Cable length to electrodes: 3 000 m.
· large setting range: 2 ... 450 kΩ this makes it possible to distinguish between liquid and foam
· On- and off-delay: 0.2 ... 20 s, separately adjustable for MIN and MAX level
· programmable for:
2 separately controlled output relays for MIN and MAX level
Jointly controlled output relays in 2-point hysteresis level control
Working current principle (output relay activated in the event of a fault)
Quiescent current principle (output relay not activated in the event of a fault)
· Electrode circuit operates with internal AC voltage generated in the instrument (approx. 30 Hz), therefore no electrolyte in the liquid
· for auxiliary voltages of AC 24 ... 230 V OR 24 V DC
· LEDs for operational readiness and contact position
· 2 output relays with 1 changeover contact each
