Description
The EX-42378 PCI I/O card provides eight serial RS-232 , 422 and 485 high-performance UART 16C1050 outputs. It was developed to expand eight additional serial combo ports for PC, small workstations or servers via the PCI bus. The card is fully PCI- or PCI-X plug-and-play compatible and has no problems with IRQ and I/O addresses conflicts. It supports the features ATATM AUTO RS-485 Transmitter. In addition, +5V or +12V can be configured on pin 9 of the RS-232 serial plug for a POS system (Power over system).
