Description
The EX-44342 PCI-Express I/O card provides two serial RS-232 High Performance UART 16C550 outputs. It was developed to expand two additional serial ports for PC, small workstations or server via the PCI Express bus. The card is fully PCI-Express Plug-and-Play compatible and has no problems with IRQ and I/O addresses conflicts. In addition, +5V or +12V can be configured on pin 9 of the serial plug for a POS system (Power over system). With the EX-44342 a Low Profile bracket is included, so that the card can also be installed in a slim PC housing of 8cm.
