Fischer 551347 Glass drill bit Hex shank 1 pc(s)

This glass drill bit is a diamond-edged hole saw designed to bore neat apertures through brittle substrates. It operates by abrading material at the contact rim while running at appropriate speeds and cooling to control heat build-up. The bit is mounted via a hexagonal shank into a drill, enabling stable rotation and straightforward changing between operations. Typical uses include making service holes in glazed panels, tiles and ceramic elements where a clean, round cut is required. Its geometry and length accommodate guided drilling and clamping set-ups common in installation and fabrication workflows.
