Fischer 573045 Spax screw 40 mm TX 1000 pc(s)

This wood screw is designed to secure timber and panel materials by converting rotational torque into axial clamping force. The thread cut along the shank pulls components together as the fastener is driven, while the countersunk head seats flush to enable unobtrusive joints. Installation is typically performed with a TX10 driver for controlled torque transfer and reduced bit slip. The zinc‑plated finish provides surface protection suited to interior joinery and general‑purpose carpentry. Typical uses include fastening timber and MDF in furniture assembly, shelving and general woodwork where flush seating and reliable mechanical holding are required.
