Description

This wood screw functions by converting rotational torque into axial clamping force as its thread advances through timber or chipboard substrates. The combination of a 4mm diameter shank and an extended thread length concentrates load transfer along the fastened members, while the countersunk head seats flush to distribute compressive forces. Installation is performed with a TX20 driver, which engages the recess to drive the fastener without excessive cam‑out. Typical uses include furniture assembly, decking substructures and fixings into chipboard panels where consistent thread engagement and a discreet head finish are required.
