Fischer 573054 Spax screw 40 mm TX 500 pc(s)

This wood screw is designed to fasten timber and panel materials by converting rotational torque into axial clamping force as the threaded portion engages the substrate. Installation is performed with a TX20 driver; the screw pulls materials together while the countersunk head seats flush into the surface. The partially threaded geometry controls draw and shear distribution across the joint, making it suitable for assembly tasks where stable alignment is required. The plated surface assists handling and reduces surface oxidation during storage; typical use cases include furniture assembly, joinery fixes and general carpentry where mechanical retention and tidy finishes are needed.
