Fischer 573066 Spax screw 80 mm TX 200 pc(s)

This wood screw is designed to join timber elements by converting rotational torque into axial pull‑in and clamping force. The drive interface accepts a TX20 bit to transmit torque with reduced slippage, enabling rapid insertion using a driver. The partially threaded shank permits the unthreaded section to act as a shear plane while the threaded portion bites into the receiving timber to maintain clamp. Countersinking the head allows it to sit level with the substrate once set. A plated finish offers surface protection to improve performance where exposure may cause minor corrosion, making these screws suitable for typical carpentry and timber‑fixing tasks.
