Description
This screw functions by converting rotational torque into axial embedment, the helical thread cutting into timber or chipboard to create a positive clamped joint. During installation, the TX30 recess transfers driver torque efficiently to the fastener, allowing controlled feed with powered or manual drivers while the head countersinks to sit level with the workpiece. The plated surface reduces the risk of surface oxidation during normal indoor use, maintaining dimensional stability and joint integrity. Typical applications include furniture assembly, carcass joinery and general woodworking where a countersunk finish and reliable thread engagement are required.
