Fischer 573078 Spax screw 140 mm TX 100 pc(s)

This wood screw is designed to secure timber components through a combination of a partially threaded shank and a driven recess. Installation is typically by powered screwdriver using a TX30 bit to engage the recess and drive the fastener without slipping. The unthreaded portion allows two timber pieces to be pulled tightly together as the threaded section bites into the substrate, producing axial clamping. The countersunk head sits flush with the surface when driven, enabling subsequent finishing or overlay. A corrosion‑resistant zinc‑plated finish provides surface protection during common interior and exterior carpentry tasks.
