Description
Steam locomotive 52 5365 of the German Federal Railways.
Between 1942 and 1950 more than 7,000 units were built from the war locomotive series 52. These were designed with as little effort as possible and also on the material was saved where it was only possible. With a weight of 84 tons it achieved a power of 1,192 kW and a maximum speed of 80 km/h. Even after 1945, locomotives were still a long time indispensable in many parts of Europe when it came to reconstruction.
