Description
The FEV300 & 1664FC DE kit includes a test adapter for EV charging stations along with a multifunction installation tester. The adapter simulates an electric vehicle and enables the user to perform safety and functional tests in combination with suitable test instruments such as an installation multifunction tester, a digital multimeter or an oscilloscope. Use the FEV300 to install stations and to test station functionality after installation, during regular maintenance, or during troubleshooting if the station does not provide appropriate charging power.

Features
- Suitable for electric vehicle charging stations with charging mode 3
- Suitable for type 2 charging stations with socket and adapter for type 2 and type 1 charging plugs
- PE pretest With this safety function, PE conductors can be tested for the possible presence of dangerous voltages to earth
- Status of the proximity pilot PP (cable simulation): For simulation of different current carrying capacities of charging cables, can be selected via the rotary switch PP-status
- Contact Pilot CP status (vehicle simulation): To simulate all charging modes, selected with the CP status rotary switch
- Displays the phases by three LEDs for easy checking whether there is voltage at the charging output
- Measurement connections L1, L2, L3, N and PE for the connection of a measuring device, e.g. an installation tester, for performing safety and functional tests
- Compatibility: Compatible with Fluke measuring devices thanks to direct connection via the measurement connections of the FEV
- CP signal output connections to check communication between adapter (=simulated electric vehicle) and charging station. This can be measured with a ScopeMeter® or multimeter. The voltage value determines the charge modes, and the duty factor of this PWM signal (pulse width modulated) determines the maximum possible charge current
- Simulation of the CP error state "E"
- Simulation of the PE fault state "F" (grounding error)
