Description
The GARDENA 900 B universal hatchet has a small, one-handed shape that can be used for a wide range of uses. Due to the optimized head and blade geometry, it is ideal for making firewood or for picking up small trees. Thanks to its compact size it can also be easily used for trekking trips.
The axe is equipped with a well-balanced center of gravity at the axe head for the correct weight distribution and more impact force. The head and shaft connection is break-proof, so that even higher loads can be withstand. By means of the hammer surface at the head end it is possible to effectively hammer wedge from wood, plastic or aluminum wedges (no steel wedges) in a wooden edge.
The blade consists of a high-quality tool steel with special coating, which reduces friction, makes it easier to penetrate into the wood and does not adhere quickly. A further feature of the universal hatchet is its comfort and safe handling. The soft components on the glass-fiber reinforced grip thus prevent slipping and make safe and comfortable working possible. For this the hook-shaped handle end (cow base) permits a high security when sliding down on the handle.
