Description
GESIPA blind rivets
The combination of blind rivet nut and bolt as an alternative or replacement for
Welding bolts and press-in bolts
Blind rivet screws are a technical combination of blind rivet nuts and bolt
Such as an economical alternative to welding bolts or other multi-part T-nut systems.
The blind rivet screw has dual function. First, it combines thin materials
Also made from different materials. On the other hand it offers with the safe and lasting
A fixed screw, another mounting point or a positioning aid.
Various dimensions, materials and head shapes cover a wide range of applications.
In addition to the standard program, application-specific adjustments are possible.
Benefits:
- Double function: Connect the joint material and provide additional fixing point (threaded bolts)
- Only one-sided accessibility is required
- Large thread load capacity
- Easier, clean and fast processing
- Space saving
- No damage to painted surfaces
- No heat input, i.e. no change in the material structure
- Suitable for repair of welding bolts
Application area:
- Thin carrier materials such as sheet metal, plastics, etc.
- Required pre-centering
- Thermal effects, e.g. welding on composites not possible or permissible
- Surface coatings must not be damaged
- Manufacture of electrically conductive connections
- Fast repairs of welding bolts
GESIPA blind rivet screws can be used with the rivet nut setting devices Firebird and Firefox
Using appropriate adapters for blind rivet screws (see device description) without any problems.
