Description
The Hobbes Fibre Checker Pro is designed for simple and fast inspection of faulty fiber optic cables. The cable emits a visible (650nm) strong laser signal - breaks become visible through a visible light beam in the area of the faulty spot. Breaks or damage in the fiber optic cable reflect / break the light and indicate the damaged area by a bright illumination. Universal connector, can be used with common connector types (ST, SC, FC, etc.). With the optional 2.5mm to 1.25mm adapter (13.01.3372), you can also test 1.25mm cable (e.g. with LC connector). Switchable between continuous and pulsating beam . Visible beam of light on up to 3 km LWL-route (minimum). Suitable for both multimode and single mode routes. 2 x AAA 1.5 V (LR03 / AM-4) test device batteries
