Description
Sequential switching for 6 consumers increases operational safety
The devices connected to the load outputs can be switched on sequentially by an automatic switching routine and switched off in reverse order. The switching sequence is triggered by operating the switch on the front of the 19-inch device. The individual Power ports are switched one after the other with a delay of 3 seconds each. This time interval can be individually adjusted for each load output. With the built-in surge protector type 3 on the Expert Power Sequencer 8112-2 and 8112-4, defects in the unit and connected devices are effectively prevented. In addition, the mains filter ensures that interference noise in loudspeakers or audio amplifiers are avoided for the two current distributors.
Application examples
- Increase operational reliability by avoiding too high switch-on currents e.g. in amplifiers, media technology installations and LED walls
- Save electricity costs by switching off devices with high standby consumption such as receivers, servers, external hard disks, displays and audio amplifiers
- Critical devices, such as an audio amplifier, are last turned on and first turned off. The typical and unpleasant sound noises, which can also damage loudspeakers and amplifiers, belong to the past.
- The jack connection allows connection of an external button and allows control outside a 19-inch cabinet
Usage places
- AV environments with audio equipment such as conference rooms, theater/lecture halls and small meeting rooms
- Installations for display and LED walls
- IT environments as in network and server cabinets (19")
- Smart home AV equipment with amplifiers, speakers and projectors
