Description
Hammond's 1590EFLBK enclosure belongs to the manufacturer's 1590 FL series of IP54 diecast aluminium enclosures with flanged lids. These rugged yet easy to machine enclosures are ideal for electronic instruments. A low side wall draft angle allows easy mounting of PCBs.
The 1590EFLBK has the same body as the regular 1590 series but its flanged lid means it can easily be mounted to walls or shelves. As the lid screws are concealed against the wall or shelf, the 1590EFLBK also provides a more secure enclosure.
The 1590EFLBK's lap joint construction protects against dust and splashing water ingress and provides good EMI/RFI shielding.
This model is painted in satin black using tough polyester powder paint for a lasting finish, even after machining. Matching black screws are provided for a consistent appearance.
