Description
The HOBBES PoE detector PoEsmart is a inLine Power over Ethernet tester, an essential device for operating a PoE system. It performs performance tests on a Power sourcing equipment (PSE) and provides an informative power status of PoE systems during their installation. It identifies the PoE standard - IEEE802.3af, IEEE802.3at, or IEEE802.3at - that the PSE supports without requiring a separate PD (powered device). PoEsmart is equipped with an internal PD to simulate a powered device. In conjunction with a PD, PoEsmart's innovative technology is able to analyze and monitor the voltage, power and power status supplied by PSE without interrupting the data flow.
