Description
The Hobbes LANIDGiga is an improved version of the successful LANID Pro. The Hobbes LANIDGiga is a highly efficient testing device that quickly and reliably detects the network status and displays it by means of an LED. Diagnose specific problems in the network during LAN installation or maintenance of LAN devices or ports.
The device differentiates the network status as follows:
• 1000 BASE-T full duplex
• 10/100 auto negotiation
• 100 BASE-Tx full duplex
• 100 BASE-Tx half duplex
• 10 BASE-T full duplex
• 10 BASE-T half duplex
The Hobbes LANIDGiga has an integrated PoE function for identifying the existing network voltage (PoE) and the type of PSE (Power sourcing equipment) on the entire network.
