Description
The HT7051 is a professional digital measuring device for measuring the insulation resistance with test voltages up to 5 kV DC. The insulation tester is suitable for a wide application in industrial electrical systems, such as for preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of motors, transformers and electrical cables etc. In programming mode, up to 3 different ramp functions can be selected in addition to the measurement duration. The HT7051 can also be used to determine the polarization index (PI) (loss of the insulation value due to external influences such as corrosion, dust, grease or moisture). Thanks to this control, the maintenance engineer can determine the future quality of the insulation in advance and plan accordingly for preventive action.
